The bottom gusset can be used as a base to hold the bag upright. It also adds very functional extra interior space when compared to a similar flat PP bag.

The co-extruded layers of polypropylene and linear low density polyethylene make it possible to take these bags straight from the freezer to the microwave. Their unique strength keeps their containment integrity intact in both environments, and they are FDA approved for direct food contact.

Made from 100% recyclable products, these bags are very environmentally friendly in that they provide greater strength at 1 mil than their similar PP counterparts at 1.4 mil. Less product equals less plastic of which to dispose.

The use of high strength, lower gauge products is known as "source reduction." This practice along with prudent recycling efforts can bring down the cost per bag, improve package performance, reduce the weight/cost of delivery both inbound and outbound, and eliminate any negative environmental impact resulting from improper disposal or placement in landfills.
